On Sunday, December 1, 2019 a large group of Veterans Supporters met at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (GLNC) to lay memorial wreaths at Veterans headstones. This program is organized and managed by the American Legion Post 32 Auxiliary. The Post Auxiliary adopted two sections at GLNC that hold headstones for veterans that were missing in action, buried at sea, or buried in another location. Over 400 wreaths were laid by the headstones and these wreaths were purchased by the Post 32 Auxiliary using fundraisers during the year. The Post 32 Honor Guard performed a rifle salute and Taps was played. A large number of supporters attended this ceremony and below is a link to view a short video of the event.
