Wilwin Lodge 2020 Open House & Fundraiser

Wilwin Lodge 2020 Open House & Fundraiser
Legion Family Members, Active duty, Reserve, and National Guard members and families,

Join the Michigan American Legion Wilwin Lodge at Cygnet Cove, located at 3383 E. Hawley Rd., in Custer, on September 12, starting at 1 pm for the annual fundraising, and open house event. There will be food, music, 50-50 raffle, and an auction to help raise money.

This annual event is open to all members of The American Legion family, and non-members who would like to learn more about the facility, and what it has to offer. Healthcare and mental health professionals use the facility for small group sessions and a distraction-free environment.

Wilwin Lodge is a subsidiary of The American Legion Department of Michigan and provides a quiet relaxing, rustic setting for veterans, active duty, reserve, and National Guard members, and their families may visit to relax and reconnect with loved ones, at little or no charge.

The property sits on 1,200 acres of property, west of Ludington. with a 60-acre lake for fishing, swimming, and small boating. The property is lined with trails for walking, hiking, and biking, as well as, open areas for scouting, and small groups to camp.

This annual event helps raise funds for the day to day operation of the property, and help families, who may need financial assistance to travel and stay on the property.
