Penrickton Center for Blind Children is located in Taylor, Michigan. It is a private, non-profit five day residential and day care agency serving blind, multi-disabled children from ages 1-12.
No fees are ever charged to the families, all financial support is raised from individuals, service clubs, corporations and foundations. It was established in 1952 and over the years has evolved to meet the needs in the community.
Livonia Post 32 Legion Riders were honored on Monday, August 31st to pay a visit to the center where we were given a tour of this amazing facility and where we gave a $500 donation. After the tour and seeing what they do for blind and disabled children we decided right then to add this center to our list of yearly donations.
